Synopsis:

The Flower Debt is a poetic re-imagining of the myth of Persephone and Hades, exploring the loss and re-forging of identity in the face of powers that take away our most personal choices. Persephone reckons with her forced captivity, before coming into her power as a new kind of thing—a deity of two realms.

Performance History:

Producing original work written by Fiona Criddle, The Flower Debt was Infinite Spark’s second production. It was directed by Fiona Criddle, with movement direction and choreography by Rachel Kodweis. It ran in August of 2023 at the Multi-use Community Cultural Center in Rochester, NY.
